Stacy Kendro is a Boston native stand-up comedian with a spirited, acerbic view of the world where her “telling it like it is” style reveals her unique perspective. She spent the second half of her career in New York where she garnered numerous projects including writing a pilot for PBS, producing her own ongoing standup variety show at Greenwich Village Comedy Club and recorded NextVR, Gotham Comedy Live with Jerry Seinfeld. Other notable New York highlights include performing at the famous Friar’s Club and regularly appeared at Dangerfield’s.
While having come from humble beginnings performing plays and standup in the theatre district in Boston, Kendro developed into a headlining performer. Early in her career she became a regular in Las Vegas and began to work the road from Lansing to Miami and was a featured performer for Norwegian Cruise Lines. She has made the rounds in comedy festivals including the prestigious Just For Laughs, Montreal, the Boston Comedy Fest, Women In Comedy, New York Laughing Devil and is a 2016 Ladies of Laughter finalist.
Ms. Kendro was honored to open for many comedy legends including Kevin Meaney and Joan Rivers and appeared on Marshall’s Women of Comedy on PAX TV with Caroline Rhea.
Kendro continues to work clubs, theatres & casinos and is now film directing and editing. Stacy starred in the television pilot “The Way It Is” written & directed by Bobby Gaylor and Jason Crowe head writer and crew from The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore that screened at the 15th annual Rhode Island SENE Film Festival in 2022. Kendro is working on television pilots and is producing a web series called Mob Shorts: The Albanian Assassin (YouTube).
When not on stage, you can find her either filming or compulsively deleting dating apps and buying gallons of wine.
